Location was ideal, apartment was missing a bit of attention
Good notes and bad notes about the property.
On a positive note, the location is ideal for Sydney. We were able to walk everywhere from Darling Harbor, the Rocks, Bridge, Opera House. And also very close to public transportation for day trips to Bondi Beach or Blue Mountains.
On a negative note, the apartment was not well stocked and wasn't up to our expectations. There was no manual to determine how to use any of the appliances; so it was up to you to figure things out. It also wasn't very clean as there was toast left in the toaster oven, food in the pots and pans, and old cheese left in the cheese grater. The bathroom shower leaked considerably and the toilet made the loudest racket whenever you flushed the toilet. Plus the apartment itself is quite noisy from the bedroom at all hours of the days, so your sleep will likely get interrupted. Some of the workmanship of the apartment was quite shoddy as indicated by the window coverings coming down, lack of ability to open the windows, and leaky bathroom. It is definitely a rental property; so expect it to feel a bit rundown.
We provided all this feedback to the property owner, especially the cleanliness of the property and it was never acknowledged.

This was the perfect place to stay while we were visiting our son and daughter-in-law in Sydney! Loved everything about it. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and had a washer & dryer. The apartment was a quick walk away from the train station, restaurants, museums, a grocery and pubs. Very comfortable beds and beautiful views! Would definitely stay here again!
This apartment was a spacious and well located to the CBD and tourist areas. We would stay here again.
Central location, spacious, comfortable
We stayed as a family of 5 and it was a fantastic to have the 3 children accommodated in a separate bedroom. We loved being able to walk to everything - buses are 2 min walk away, the train is 5 min and you are close enough to just walk to iconic locations too - 15 mins to the botanic gardens/opera house and 15 mins to darling harbour. Woolies is 2 min away, there is a coffee bar below the unit and many restaurants and cafes nearby. The unit is clean & comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The Foxtel was a nice addition to chill out at night after a busy day seeing the sights. The only negative comment is about the noise that permeates into the master bedroom at night - not general traffic noise which we quite like, but noisy trucks that started from 430am (rubbish trucks, food delivery trucks, construction trucks for the block up the road) and occasional shouting and screaming from the patrons of the nearby pubs. Double glazing would be ideal for this reason. The kids' bedroom was not affected. Otherwise this unit is worth 5 stars.
