Wonderful, relaxing stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Milk andHoney. It is was very peaceful and relaxing. The house and garden are beautiful and there is so much to see and do in the surrounding towns of Angaston, Tanunda and Nuriootpa as well as a visit to the Barossa Markets.
Gorgeous house - perfect for a short break in the Barossa
We had a lovely stay at Milk & Honey House. It's the perfect size for two couples and in a great location - close to shops and wineries but at the same time nice and quiet.
Kirstie was a great host - easy to communicate with and she included some nice touches such as a welcome note and bottle of wine.
We would happily stay again.
Absolutely loved our stay at Milk and Honey: beautifully appointed property
Really enjoyed a weekend away with my partner and parents in the Barossa.
It was freezing cold and we were toasty warm inside. We cooked dinners in both nights and the kitchen was amazing,
All I can do is praise this home, it was a treat to stay there.
Perfect home away from home
Cute little cottage that would suit a romantic holiday for two or a family get away. There were two couples and we never felt on top of each other. Bedrooms were lounge and there was ample space to socialise in whether it be the kitchen, lounge or outside. The cottage was clean, and contained everything you would need if you wanted to be fully self-contained. Breakfast provisions and wine were a nice touch too. Each room contained heating/air-conditioning, so will be quite comfortable for the summer months.
While not in the heart of everything, nothing is more than a 5-10minute drive away. It was actually quite nice to be away from busy streets and being able to relax in our own company. Taxis were able to easily find the house - maybe book in
advance for weekends though.
We would definitely stay again!
Perfect for our stay.
We loved our short stay at Milk & Honey. The house was quaint & extremely cosy. It was well designed with air - conditioners in every room to adjust to required temperature.
The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary items. We appreciated the bottle of wine , biscuits & breakfast samples.
The beds were very comfortable too with warm donnas .
We enjoyed the easy 3 minute drive into Angaston & having all the best restaurants at your reach.
Tips - book FernentAsia - -12 min drive. Fab food.
Fino at Seppeltsfield - fantastic for lunch
Hently Farm - pricey but worth the experience.
Maggie Beer Farm for coffee
Barossa Valley Markets - Saturday- local produce.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay during our road trip from Sydney to The Barossa and home again via the Great Ocean Road. The house was beautifully decorated and perfect for two couples. It really did feel like a home away from home and so comfortable from the outdoor setting, perfect for afternoon cheese and wine time, to relaxing with a dvd on the cosy leather lounge. The attention to detail and the delightful surprise to find fresh milk and juice as well as breakfast supplies and a welcoming bottle of wine. We were able to arrange pick up from the house for a fabulous day tour of the vineyards and enjoyed checking out the neighbouring towns of Tanunda and Angaston where we were delighted to find so many choices for dinner when we chose not to cook. To sum it up - Perfect!
