Fantastic,great , perfect get away
Sue has prepared a lovey home away from home for any visitors, a cottage perfectly in tune with the village of Greenock. We both enjoyed relaxing week in the Barossa using Greenock as our base, visiting the areas best foodies & wineries & being made to welcome to Greenock by the locals . It was marvelous time & all I have to do now is convince Heather (my wife) to move . Thanks Richard & Heather
Thank you for your review. The cottage has a genuine historical connection with Greenock and we love it when guests recognise and enjoy that. Those of us that are lucky enough to live in the Barossa Valley certainly appreciate the area. If you can't live here then visiting often may have to do.
Perfect for Barossa Wineries
Thoroughly enjoyed 2 night stay at the OTS. Clean as a whistle and very welcome breakfast doings with a secure and pleasant rear garden for our pups.
Relaxing, amazing Property!
This is an amazing place to stay!
Breakfast supplied is amazing, bacon eggs, tomato, bread, ham cereal, milk juice. Nothing more you could want really!!
The property is completely secure so if traveling with you furry friends they will live it! The overall feel of this beautiful house is one of relaxation. Thank you so much Sue for sharing your property with us we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
A Special Place
Yep, the effort that has gone into this place makes it very special.
It is an older property that has been beautifully renovated. Some of the touches are really a delight. The backyard is beautiful, with a lovely undercover area with bbq. The kitchen has been thought through in great detail. This is the type of kitchen where you use something, and then hope you've put it back in the right spot, because everything has a spot.
Breakfast was lovely. The towels and bathrobes were lovely. The bedding was exceptional.
Location is great. A short drive to the local Co-op supermarket (which I highly recommend). There are wine tasting places within walking distance.
On the negative side, the property is very close to the street. I had no issue with noise though, as Greenock is a very quiet little part of the world.
We would absolutely love to come back here again. I won't be looking for anywhere else in the Barossa as long as the owner will continue to have us.
Thank you for such a detailed and positive review. You are right; the cottage is close to the street as are most of the properties in that area, but Greenock is a lovely quiet village and guests are rarely disturbed by noise. You are most welcome to return any time
