It is a real blessing when a place to stay lives up to and exceeds expectation. Our group had the most amazing time and will be back soon. Thank you to Reyna and Arturo and Jani for making our stay feel as easy and good as it did <3
Thank you for your kind review! I am glad your group had a great time and we look forward to having you stay again!!
What a beautiful place to stay.
The house was gorgeous. The beaches were quiet and peaceful. The village of Troncones was quiet and safe. Jani’s caretakers cooked amazing food and Arturo took us out to catch dinner. I don’t think there is a better place to spend a beach vacation. There are not many places left in the world where you can walk along the beach and not see a soul for miles. Just miles of coconut palms.
Thank you for your review! I am glad you got away from it all and had a relaxing vacation.
We had an amazing time staying in this home. The area is beautiful and safe. The house is gorgeous and I didn’t want to leave. Everything was clean and comfortable and exactly as described. I highly recommend staying here.
A fabulous place to disconnect from the world
The location is very remote. Paved roads in Troncones, watch out for the many speed bumps, then onto a dirt road in Majahua. The house is beautiful with a Master bedroom on the top level and two lockouts on the first level. Each lockout has a King, queen, and two twins. Reyna and Arturo take care of the place and two of the nicest people you'll meet. Reyna's cooking is FABULOUS. Arturo will take you out fishing.
There are two dogs and four cats and they are wonderful and gentle. The beach below is great for walking, but I didn't venture too far into the water due to an abundance of sea urchins. There is a great beach for swimming and boogie boarding at the Crocodile Crossing.
I cannot recommend this place enough.
IT’S ALL TRUE!
Everything that you read in the previous reviews is spot on about this property. This house is super clean and the staff is marvelous.
I suffer from celiac disease and Rayna took the time to carefully cook gluten-free food for me. I suffered no symptoms from my condition. Top it all off with deliciousness and you have a true vacation!
I felt really safe here as well. We walked home in the evenings under the full moon on the beach without worry. The community is a treasure.
Jani’s recommendations were all very helpful. We enjoyed our kayak tour with eco-tours. We also had her masseuse come to the house and she was great.
The road to the house turns into a dirt road as you pass through the village of Troncones. Persevere and don’t turn around. It feels like a long way the first time you do it.
When I return, which I will, I will research different grocery stores. The one we were directed to was fine however I will look for something with a greater selection of produce. That’s just me. The grocery store we were sent to did have a nice selection of wine and tequila!
Overall it was a fantastic stay! Thank you Casa de Princessa!
I am so happy you enjoyed your time! I am going to write a house guide that has directions to the Zihuatanejo market, along with other ideas that you can check out when you return!
Thank you for the kind review.
A little piece of paradise!
Staying at Casa Princessa is my idea of the perfect vacation retreat!
Not only is it an absolutely beautiful home but the ambience is totally enhanced by the energy, good will and hard work of the caretakers Arturo and Reyna. Our group enjoyed 5 delicious dinners prepared and served by Reyna our fabulous chef as well as the substantial and unique (huevos mole) breakfast entrees. Reyna easily accommodated our dietary needs which included vegan, vegetarian as well as omnivores.
Our group practiced yoga, did stand up paddle boarding, enjoyed using the beach chairs and umbrellas and the proximity of Majahua Palms for WiFi margaritas and guacamole (tho Reyna’s is best!).
Another big plus for us as staunch animal lovers was the menagerie of sweet dogs and kitties in residence. While that might not appeal to everyone, we loved having Oso, Mocha and Gaucho lounging nearby for cuddles and pets! We also appreciated being able to go into lovely Troncones for shopping, and had dinner at the Inn at Manzanillo Bay. It was truly a fabulous week, perfect in every way!
This was my second visit and I look forward to returning as often as possible!
