We did not spend a lot of time at this property because there is so much to see and do in this area. The home is beautiful and the view from the porch is very nice.
Robbinsville is a great "hub" for all things outdoors! Appalachain Trail, Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Joyce Kilmer National Forest, Nantahala River Rafting and so much more! So glad you had great weather to enjoy the outdoors!
Great secluded spot , the crazy driveway not withstanding
The place is spacious with every thing you'd ever need to enjoy a stay. The driveway up to the house is very steep and covered in loose gravel. We brought motorcycles on a trailer and I'm very glad the vehicle pulling them was an AWD. Once you've traversed it a few times it's not too bad, but definitely not for novice motorcycle riders. No cell service but there is a landline and wifi. Lots of outdoor living area and a garage that came in handy. Everything was clean and in working order including the jacuzzi tub. Great views and a nice quiet private spot.
Beautiful woodland home with an amazing view!
Robbi nicely provided us with comprehensive information of activities to do in the area. We enjoyed whitewater rafting, kayaking, horse back riding, hiking and sightseeing.
The two story house or “cabin” is very well kept, clean and having all the kitchen equipment and other amenities that a family would need for a home away from home type stay. There’s plenty of room for a family of six to stay comfortably. The house does have a cozy “cabin” feel to it. The interior is decorated with outdoorsman elements; hunting, fishing and native Indian items. The classic furniture was comfortable and in good condition.
The cabin is the second to the last house at the end of the road. The scenery from the top of the hill where the house is located, has a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed having our meals outside on the top deck of the second story and looking at the mountains, trees, birds, mist and sky.
We really enjoyed our week long stay at this “Little Elk Nob” cabin. We felt at home here and would love to return for another stay.
I am so glad you had a wonderful time at our cabin and were able to make use of many of the fun things to do in the surrounding area! Although the summers are warm, the evenings are wonderfully cool for outdoor lounging and relaxing on the outside decks and you really cant beat the VIEWS!!! We make every effort to help with your travel plans by providing up-to-date information about the Graham County area and local activities that you may enjoy! Following us on our Facebook page will also keep you current on events! We look forward to your return in the future! Robbi
I had an amazing time with my family. It was absolutely beautiful!
The cabin was absolutely beautiful & very comfy to stay in. Just like home
Great stay. Nice secluded property.
We stayed here for part of our vacation this summer. The home was very large with lots of room, comfortable and beautiful. Having coffee in the morning on the wrap around porch was amazing with the views. The only thing I will say is this property is more secluded on the south side of the mountains. It's 30 min + to any bigger cities with things to do. As we were looking to avoid the tourist trap on the north side of the mountain it was perfect for what we were looking for. White water rafting, hiking & horse back riding were all nearby....Robbi also was very responsive and wonderful to work with.
We spent a fantastic week at Little Elk’s Nob cabin! The cabin itself is beautiful and filled with everything you could possibly need. My daughter and her friend and I stayed upstairs while my son and nephews stayed in the downstairs suite. The beds were all comfy. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and pretty much everything you could need. We had a fire in the fire pit one night and made s’mores which the kids loved. It’s easy driving to Bryson City for tubing and hiking at Deep Creek, and to Nantahala Outdoor Center for rafting. Check in was super easy, and we had a great time!
We agree that our cabin and the surrounding area is "Perfect Peace"! So many fun outdoor activities to do all within a short drive, then home for peace and quiet with family and friends. Glad you enjoyed our stay!
