Location tres central, apartment tres commode
Tres beau location qui donne sur les pistes, pres de touts les telesieges et du centre village.
Apartment tres comfortable avec tout ce dont qu'on a besoin.
Beaucoup de pistes a tous niveaux; beaucoup de restaurants; be tres bonne boulangerie.
Nous n'hesiterons pas de retourner.
The perfect apartment in Val D’Isere
My family of 4 adults travelled from Australia to ski in Val d’Isere for the first time in Jan 2020 staying in Christine’s apartment for 8 nights. The location of the apartment is, without a doubt, one of the best in Val D’Isere!! Ski in, ski out and all lifts up to the mountain were on our doorstep. The ski rental shop and lockers are located directly downstairs. Super convenient!! The view from the apartment is quite spectacular and watching the activity on the front of the slopes keeps you entertained constantly. The famous Chevallot boulangerie, fromage deli, great cafes and restaurants are all within a stones throw from the apartment. The main street and village is only a 100m walk away. The apartment is newly renovated, super clean and well appointed with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Thank you Christine for being the perfect host, answering all questions and providing advice when needed. We hope to be back in Val D’Isere soon!

Everything I hoped for.
Amazing and stunning apartment right in the middle of Val but tranquil
Our experience from booking through to leaving has been faultless. Christine was quick to help on every little thing however trivial and was a wealth of knowledge from parking to supermarket shopping. She made the whole experience a joy.
The apartment was right at the bottom of The Face and close to a number of lifts. My initial worries was that it would be noisy being so close to everything but my worries were unfounded. It was lovely and quiet with double glazing and electric shutters to the windows. The wonderful balcony was gorgeous and we enjoyed lovely late lunches in the sun. The beauty of this apartment is you can return for a quick lunch! We also enjoyed watching people returning from apres ski at the Cocorico which was very amusimg at times, as well as the torch procession.
The apartment itself has everything from ski lockers and boot room on the ground floor to a very handy lift. Loads of space, hot water, kitchen essentials, decent induction hob and pans that don’t stick and knives that are sharp - hurrah!!!! The two bathrooms are an added luxury and wonderful showers in both. The place is immaculate and also includes a washing machine and hoover.
You can park right outside to load and unload your car and then park in the centre car park only minutes walk away.
There are loads of bars and restaurants nearby. The best thing however is the famous Chevallot bakery 2 mins walk. Just delicious!
I can’t write this without mentioning the lovely Yvette who is the ‘housekeeper fantastique’ and who is brilliant although she speaks very little English(so do try and make the effort to speak French)! Nothing is too much for her and she has a great communication line with Christine.
We will be booking this next year hopefully. Please if you book this apartment, treat it with the respect it deserves. It really is a gem!
Modern apartment on the slopes in Val
My family of 4 enjoyed a week ski vacation in this modern and elegant 2 bedroom apartment. We could not have been more happy to stay here! The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances to eat in (when we wanted to!), plus beautifully organized. I especially appreciated the storage and hooks for our ski clothing and gear. The location and view are amazing! Right in front of the slopes! So grateful to the owner and caretaker who answered all our questions and accommodated our needs.
Thank you very much ! You are such a lovely family ! It was a pleasure having you and we are so pleased you really enjoyed your stay and discovered so many parts of the val d'Isère ski area ! We hope to see you again in Val D'Isère in the future ... still a lot to discover , and you will always be welcomed in Grand Paradis 😉�!
Au rond point central de val d'isère (place de l'office du tourisme), prendre tout de suite à droite et monter vers le front de neige (tourner à gauche devant hotel Ormelune). Entréee de la résidence "Grand paradis" au niveau du magasin Intersport.
