un grand MERCI.
Dear Barbara, thank you so much for your nice words, we are so glad to hear that you had such a wonderful stay. We look forward to meeting you again in the near future!

A wonderful traditional tuscan experience
An amazing italian house on the hills fit for a real family reunion. We spent a week at Borgo la villa and we’re amazed at the beautiful views and the proximity to all the little towns and bigger cities in tuscany. The pictures doesn’t do it justice. The winding road up to the villa is tricky and lets you know right away that you are in the countryside. The whole family could gather in the big kitchen or around the big pool and still get our own spaces in the different areas of the villa. We werent that impressed by the facilities in the kitchen which could use a renovation but the other facilities were nice. The town of Subbiano wasn’t much to see but after a 20 min drive you reach the historical and idyllic town of Arezzo.
Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone seeking a retreat in the tuscan countryside!
Family in Tuscany
This is a beautiful property, but somewhat rustic in function. It is an old villa. Gabriella was very helpful. We had hoped the hot tub would be working and even contacted the owner in advance. But it is an old hot tub and needs replacing. Enjoyed the pool although very coll for the season. Always clean, though.
Lots of room, more than we needed. But, it was accessible to all the well known tourist sites of Tuscany, and we discovered some off beat places that we astounding. Arezzo itself was a darling location. Overall, loved our stay.
Incredible Family Vacation
As a family of 14 (11 adults and 3 children), this home was the perfect fit for our family adventure. The property is amazing with private and separate quarters for everyone to have their own space but with the "great room" in the main house as a central gathering spot for meals and hanging out. The pictures do not do this property justice - it is absolutely beautiful with incredible views over the town. You feel the Tuscan history in this historic home...everything was awesome. A highlight was hiring a chef for the most amazing dinner! Such a fun night - incredible food and beautiful service - highly recommend. There really isn't anything we would change or add …. the first trip up the hill was interesting but you get used to the switchbacks quickly - lol. Thank you for providing the backdrop for so many beautiful memories !
What a week!
What can I say! The villa was beautiful, the photos do not do justice to how grand this place feels - we felt like rockstars when we arrived. The location was stunning, we couldn’t get enough of the views and for a 30th birthday with 18 adults it was the perfect place to unwind.
Francesca and Gabriella were wonderfully helpful both before and during our stay - really prompt and thorough with information with lots of great tips and suggestions.
We were disappointed that the hot tub was out of action for our trip, but they were very kind in their compensation - the wine went down very well! I also think that we might have been alarmed by the heating bill should we have been able to use it for longer than we did.
The only downside is that the villa was very cold inside as it’s so huge! We had to wrap up a lot at night, but there were lots of blankets on hand for that. I would also say that you will need cars a lot more than I had assumed before arriving.
But I would 100% recommend to anybody to stay here, we had an unforgettable time. Thank you Borgo La Villa!
