Nancy and Jim’s place is great, my wife loved it. Being at pool level a plus. We needed an item and Nancy had it to our door within 30 minutes and new ones arrived from Amazon in two days. Simply a great unit.
Not as advertised
I booked a 5 week stay at this very nice condo, for myself and my handicapped husband. .The entire point of choosing this condo at this location was that it “advertised a pool, hot tub directly across their condo ..” we could use the pool daily ...it was a quick walk to the pool . We were so excited. ALAS... they were under repair for 23 of the 35 days we were there. We had prepaid a significant amount for this luxury condo. WE WERE SO DISAPPOINTED THAT IT WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED. When we complained , the out of state owner, was not sympathetic . Her response was it wasn’t in the contract . She said if the HOA was doing repairs it wasn’t her responsibility. We discovered though, that the repairs had begun prior to our arrival. We should have been informed by the owner. We received no information that the plumbing in the building was being worked on and that the pools would be affected. We asked for a small partial refund .She felt we were being unreasonable. She said” if wasn’t her fault And she wasn’t responsible.” But, the pool problems began long before our arrival. Shouldn’t we have been informed & been given the opportunity to cancel this reservation ? Shouldn’t we have been informed that the building was doing repairs, which included the pool and hot tub? I would NOT have booked this unit had it been under repair. At our request we were eventually compensated a small amount. We would not have booked there had the owner and/ or HOA been honest with us that they were having problems with their pool , plumbing and hot tub & were doing lots of needed repairs during our stay . Unhappy customer. This is our 6th Home Booking Site vacation and we’ve never been dissatisfied .. ..
We are disappointed you feel we misrepresented the unit. The property was offered as advertised. The location is right outside the pool and spa, ground level with access gate right across from patio and photos verify that on website. There was serious problem that developed with the pool and spa that required the pool to be closed by the HOA for repairs that included potential scalding of people with 130 degree water. Regretfully parts had to be ordered and further problems were discovered while repairing and the HOA decided to fix everything while the pools were closed. They felt it was a good time as the weather was poor with temps in the 30s and even snow and rain during that period of time. The HOA never gave advance notice of any planned repairs and this was a responsive action by them that we only became aware of when you contacted us about it. The rental contract does provide that we are not responsible for actions taken by the HOA that are beyond our control. However, we did offer and you did accept the courtesy discount as a satisfactory remedy even though we were under no contractual obligation to do so. This was in addition to the already discounted rate previously negotiated. Guests were also offered use of the neighboring pool and spa facilities at the sister resort next door until repaired. We additionally accommodated your request for a late check out and mail box set up for forwarding of mail to further accommodate. We stayed in contact with you about updates within a timely manner as well. The fact that the water was shut off during the day for a building system repair was beyond our control and restored in a timely manner. At no point did you suggest or request to leave and be refunded your balance which quite frankly we would have preferred over the insulting and accusatory dialogue we were compelled to graciously endure during your stay. Your continued claim that we falsely advertised the property and demand for a $1,000 refund as result would not be considered a “small partial refund” as you described for matters clearly beyond our control, without prior notice to us and a comparable pool and spa being offered in the interim. The amount offered was significant and you accepted same. In the three properties we manage we have close to 100 reviews and this is first time we have ever received one star. We try to please guests 100% of the time; in reality there will always be the 1% that may never be pleased no matter how hard we try.
This property is gorgeous! The lake is so close and the village is adorable and easy to access. The condo is cute and roomy and the back deck is relaxing. I'd love to stay here again.
The property was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The location on the property is perfect as it's garden level and directly across from the pool and hot tub. We had 4 teenagers and us and the condo had plenty of room for all. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

This condo is set up so nice. The kitchen is open to living/dining. The patio was extra large and walked right out to pool and the village. It was well appointed with everything you would need. It was a relaxing and enjoyable place to be. We really enjoyed our stay.
