Great location, amazing property and very accommodating!
Great property in a great location!
This property has everything you need for an enjoyable visit, whether you own a boat or not!
We are a family with children ages 15 & 20, no one was bored, you can do as much or as little as you want!
The space was clean and as described in the listing. The views from the living room and dining room were fantastic and the deck space off the living room was a bonus. The kitchen was small but we used the breakfast bar for additional counterspace so it was not an issue for our family. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook.
Outdoors there is plenty of room in the yard and it was nice having multiple ways to access the water (dock, stairs, beach). The apple tree provided some shade, which we also took advantage of, a great place to sit with the dog, read and watch the lake activity! Bob and his family are friendly and excellent hosts. The location is private and quiet, yet close to the market, park and marina- all within walking distance. We loved it and would not hesitate to vacation here again!
A little slice of Heaven
Robert is so pleasant and nice. He was always quick to answer any questions we had before we arrived and an absolute pleasure to speak with on the phone.
When we finally met Robert and his family they couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming.
We are a family of seven. Two adults, four kids ages 16, 14, 12 year old twins and a Golden Retriever. The house was clean and very comfortable all around.
The backyard is beautiful. Robert has to have the BEST property in Hague. From the spacious lawn, the amazing lake access/views and the gorgeous mountains, you have it all!
We loved swimming, floating around in tubes, walking all the way out to the buoys and fishing off the dock. We rented a boat for two days and our kids had the best time tubing and rock/cliff jumping.
In the evening, relaxing by the fire pit was cozy. The kids loved making s'mores.
The parking in the driveway was a little tight being the house is located next to the road and we have two large vehicles, but this is coming from folks who live in the country and are use to having a lot of space around them.
If you are thinking about vacationing here do it. You won't regret the little slice of Heaven that is waiting for you.
We had an amazing time at the Lake House. The views are gorgeous. The beach is great for little ones. The water is only 2-3 feet deep for about 20 feet out, so super safe for little ones. We rented boat and were able to keep it at the house dock. Definitely recommend this property!
Lovely view of the lake and a short walk to the Village Market for coffee and egg sandwiches .
Nice rental for our family for the week.
Nice spot to take in the views and chill out!
This was a great place to stay and take a break from the world. The moon coming up over the mountain and reflecting on the lake was breathtaking. It was so relaxing to sit by the lake while the kids played on the private beach and swam in the lake. Bob was so friendly and his family was there to answer any questions or concerns.
