My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is nicely decorated and very clean. The bed is comfortable and the shower is awesome! It is within walking distance to restaurants and the train depot. The little balcony overlooking Main Street is perfect for relaxing and people watching! Would definitely stay here again!
This was my second time staying at Todd's downtown suite and we look forward to staying here again. The apartment is walking distance to everything downtown and had everything we needed for our three day stay. Thanks!
A must stay!
Definitely a must stay! You will not be disappointed! Perfect location to walk to everything in town. I also cannot stress how clean and absolutely adorable this apartment is! Has a very warm, cozy and inviting feel. This property is even better in person! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Bryson City!
Convenient & Clean
This is in walking distance from everything Bryson City has to offer. It is very clean and felt like a second home. We suggest that you bring your own pillow, as the pillows provided were not to our liking. Plenty of space. Balcony is great for people watching. Easy check-out instructions. Kitchen is IKEA design and furnishings. Unit is well designed. One satellite cable box for both bedroom and LR, which made it virtually impossible to change channels on the bedroom TV from the bed, unless you had your head down by the foot of the bed. So, no HULU, Netflix, or Amazon for movie watching. But lots of channels. But if you're not used to watching commercials anymore, get ready. No dvd player, so you can't run down to the Ingles and rent a movie to watch. Good, strong WIFI in unit and in town. Bathroom is gorgeous. Fluffy towels, but white. So beware of leaving your makeup behind on the them, which sometimes can happen, even after washing your face completely in the shower. They do, however provide makeup removal cloths, which was considerate. Also, you need stretch to turn on the water without getting half your body wet while the water is still cold. Awesome, big closet with chair, full length mirror, which I appreciated very much. Owner was attentive. Had an issue with the Keurig coffee maker, and he replaced it during our stay, within 12 hours, in fact! (He may want to consider one for commercial use or an upgraded model for the future.) Overall, this was a great unit and one of the best I've had the opportunity to stay in over the years.
Tips for town from former New Yorkers:
Best coffee: LaDolce Vita Bakery. Hands down. The coffee and food was awful at Mountain Perks, though if you get there early, you can get a muffin or something, and sit at the tables outside and watch the train pull out, which is cool.
Best lunch: The Filling Station - fresh, hand-cut fries!
Best pizza: Pasqualio's almost got it right. Fresh ingredients, though.
Best Chocolate: The Chocolate Shop (and the peanut brittle is the best I've tasted in a good, long while.)
Overall, Bryson Coty is a nice, quaint town. Very quiet at night and not a lot of drunk, young folks. So great for families or couples, in this case, that want a nice time away from it all. Check out Cherokee, which is a short 15 minute drive away, and be sure to visit the Museum of the Cherokee Indian. Awesome gift shop, too! The Smoky Mountains are a must see, but beware in season! Very, very busy!
Neat, clean, spacious and contemporary
The unit is a good size, clean, the decor is contemporary and the location is close to all shops and restaurants. The owners are kind and attentive. You will love it!
