Great little place for some r & r. Loved the coziness of it. Has everything you need to stay. Just bring the food!
Only reason a 4 star on accuracy is the directions lead you to the 1st cabin on the right. Zoes is the 3rd.
We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay! We are sorry that the directions were misleading. We are following up with our local staff to make sure that the directions are accurate for our future guests. Thank you for your feedback, we hope to host you again soon!
Beautiful . . .
Beautiful, comfortable old cabin, beautiful location. Well equipped.
Zoe’s Log Cabin
Private, quiet street with a beautiful view of the river! Cozy house.
Lovely little cabin in the Woods
The cabin is set on a small piece of property, but well sheltered from the very quiet neighbors. At the back of the property is a tiny creek running into a small river, with trees all around, and you can just sit out there and breathe. Fantastic. The cabin itself is adorable, very north woodsy. There's a full kitchen, but no dishwasher or washing machine - there's no room for it. The grocery store is a 5-10 minute drive away. There's a bedroom on the first floor, and a loft bedroom with a king size and a twin bed. The stairs to the loft are rather precipitous and without risers, so the loft is unsuitable for small children or people with mobility issues. It was built by WPA workers in the 30s, and has that WPA charm. Everything was clean and in good repair, except the handle for the hot water faucet in the shower/tub is broken, but still operable. Set in the Mt. Hood National Forest, where there's plenty of hiking and lakes to kayak.

Beautiful view, perfect cabin -- and great bed!
Peace and quiet
We've come to this cabin for 4th of July weekend and found that there aren't too many people around Welches during that time. I expected it to be super busy but instead found peace and quiet. The cabin is very cozy, we cooked our meals, ate them by a cozy fireplace and ended up reading by the river. The cabin is surrounded by tall gorgeous trees and you can see the river right out the window! Absolutely stunning, super close both to the mountains, lakes and Portland, I highly recommend it!
