Fantastic cabin by the lake.
The owner Tom was very accommodating and friendly. This was my second time staying at the property and I'll definitely be going back. The grounds by the lake are amazing and the cabin is perfect.

A long overdue review of our stay! My wife and I and our two children (boy and girl twins aged 14) stayed at the cabin for a week this past July. Along with us came our 22’ bowrider.
I came upon this rental last winter while searching for an inexpensive place to stay on Lake Winnipesaukee. Knowing little about the area we put a little bit of faith into our choice.
Almost immediately after our inquiry into the property, Tom, the owner of the cabin got back to us and answered any if not all of our questions. Everything sounded great, but being the ultimate skeptic I still had reservations up till the last minute as after all this was our family vacation.
A week or so in advance of our trip, Tom reached out to us to confirm our plans and any last minute information. He even agreed to meet us at the boat launch and help us get our boat in the water. The boat launch is only about 1/4 mile away from the property. After launching, we were able to leave our trailer safety and securely on the property.
A short ride later, we brought our boat around and met Tom at the cabin. He gave us a complete walk through of everything we would need to know as well as a tour of the property.
Everything we needed was right there. A sandy beach for swimming/lounging, a dock for doing the same, waterfront fire pit, pavilion with game room, and outdoor grill. Our boat was docked 50 or so yards from our front deck.
Our cabin was quaint, very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. A perfect cozy getaway for a family of four!
One thing of note is that this is a shared property amongst owners of other cabins on the property. I have nothing but good to say about everyone we met that week. As we got to know them, we came to understand that most of them had been coming there for years if not decades. They were tremendously accommodating and made us feel as though we ourselves had been doing the same.
Logistically speaking, the cabin probably could not be in a better location. The town of Wolfboro (which was our favorite) was a five minute drive down the road. Shops, dining, ice cream, basically anything you need was within a stones throw. If you are a boater, you can also bring your boat right into town on the municipal docks which is quite cool.
In review, our stay at Tom’s cabin was everything we wanted and more. The amount to do in this area is way too much to list here, and this is the perfect jumping off place. We would return again in a heartbeat!
Tiny cabin at the lake
A beautiful small cabin with all of the fantastic amenities of being on the big lake.
Close to great restaurants and lots to do.
Wonderful grounds and a warm community with great people.
Fishing and Relaxation on lake Winnipesaukee
We have been staying here for the past 4 years and absolutely love the cottage, lake and all the other people who are residents. This is a place were you can go to relax and enjoy Winter Harbor of Lake Winnipesaukee. Fishing is awesome as well. The cottage has everything you need complete with kitchen items, grill and a perfect view of the lake. The owner is very accommodating to all his renters and a pleasure to deal with during the booking process. We will be returning to this relaxing atmosphere next year.
