This apartment was all about location. We walked everywhere in Old Quebec City while staying here for a week in September including the Museum of Art on the opposite side of the Plains of Abraham Park. The Farmers Market was about a block from the apartment. The kitchen met our needs as we had breakfast and dinner each day there. A few small grocery stores are close by for other items like milk and butter. We were very please with our stay here.
Spacious apartment in a great location for exploring Quebec City. Located in the Old Port area, Old Quebec is just a short (though steep) walk away. The apartment is very close to the Old Port Market and many good restaurants. It is in an older building, so a few foibles with doors and windows — not a big deal. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer and newly renovated bathroom much appreciated. Any questions received a quick response from Steve (host).
So happy we found the perfect place to stay while visiting Old Quebec City!
We had the good fortune to find this apartment on VRBO and stayed there for a week in July. Steve was very responsive to all of our questions and Ray was very helpful when we arrived. The apartment was clean, large enough for our family of 4 (but could easily fit 6) and had everything we could need, including a washer and dryer. Although the temperature was in the 80s most days, the apartment stayed comfortable when the windows were left open. The location was perfect! Just blocks from cafes and attractions in Le Petit Champlain, it is an easy walk (requires hill and steps) to the Frontenac Promenade. Directly across the street is a parking lot that allows overnight parking for a small fee..(We never had a problem finding a space and the sticker was good for 24hours.. so never had to move the car unless desired....just needed to put another sticker on it ).. and a permanent farmers market, where we were able to get everything (eggs, cheese, wine, meats, produce and baked goods, etc. ) we needed during our stay. We hope it is available the next time we visit Old Quebec!! Thanks again Steve for sharing your home with us!
Perfect location for a long term stay!
Condo is charming. Lots of room to be comfortable. Loved the market right across the street.
Bus stop really close. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants and bars. Grocery store 10 minute walk away. Lot quieter than inside the walls but still very accessible to tourist areas.
Steve(the owner) was amazing. Responded to my requests on a timely basis and with a smile.
Only drawback I had was the stairs to the second floor condo-if you are the least disabled can be a difficult climb but still I would go back again. Loved it that much!
