Old fashioned comfort
We loved our stay. The cabin was close to Lake Junaluska, which has a great walking trail. We had a fire burning in the fireplace, which added ambiance to the total experience. We will visit again.
Outdated house with lots of quirks
The house is not as nice as the pictures make it out to be. It’s obviously very old and needs to be updated. You have to bring your own linens and paper goods, and the kitchen is not well stocked. Lake Junaluska is beautiful and the house is located in a great area. But think twice before booking here
Had a wonderful time!
My group had a fantastic time! The house was clean and pleasant. With the exception of running short of paper towels and toilet tissue, we enjoyed our stay very much.
Dark, dirty, and buggy
I wanted to love it, but the pictures don't represent reality. Ants, roaches, lots of spiders, mosquitos. 5 lights were out. Shower curtain moldy. Stove is extremely small. Furnishings and curtains are old and unwashed. Ceilings are extremely low and hit heads a lot, even at 5'6"... We were really disappointed.
