Beautiful home with a beautiful view
Perfect house for two families. Wilbur and Gloria are wonderful and very helpful. We had them prepare two wonderful dinners during our stay. On the day we arrived we were greeted with homemade guacamole and margaritas. Our week stay flew by and we will be back to stay again.
The very best way/place to visit Tulum. Tres Palmeras is roomy and comfy.
We have stayed at "all inclusives", never again! Tres Palmeras was the best we've ever experienced. This beautiful home is located right on the beach and just a few minutes from Tulum. It offers plenty of room for larger families.
Wilbert and Gloria are the most gracious hosts and caretakers. Having them cook for you is an absolute must.
Whether you just want to hang out and relax by the beach with all the amenities of this beautiful home or use it as a hub as you come and go, Tres Palmeras is the perfect place to stay as you enjoy Tulum.
My personal favorite experience was watching the mystical turtles lay their eggs from above the beach in the cabana by the pool. It was simply peaceful and magical.
I would recommend Tres Palmeras to everyone who is seeking a peaceful, comfortable, yet elegant place to stay in Mexico.
Amazing home with fantastic caretakers!
Our youngest son graduated high school so we said let's take the whole family on a trip to Mexico. There were 9 of us total ranging from 48 to 4 (grand-daughter in tow). I can not say enough about how amazing this place is. Will and Gloria were so helpful with our needs and make amazing food. All of us have said we would go back and just have them cook for us as their food is authentic and well prepared! Plus Will's margaritas were the best in Mexico. We spent one day out on an excursion with Eduardo from Natura May that I would highly recommend. We got to see the sea turtle come up at night and lay her eggs - breathtaking! The last two days were stormy but we made the best of it while playing games and hanging out as a family. We are from Oregon so we ventured out in the rain also. I can not say enough about our experience. Thank you Pam, Will and Gloria! Gracias!
Wonderfully relaxing trip! Such a beautiful home with views from virtually every room. Our group of 6 enjoyed the spaciousness (inside and out) for hanging out together and, when desired, a private retreat to bedrooms/balconies with gorgeous water and sunrise views. The ocean, with crashing waves, is just steps away with a swimming pool and a hammock beneath a thatched roof hut in between. You need water shoes for the beach/water as the area is full of coral. We shopped the local Tulum grocery store (superstore) and prepared many meals at home. The fully appointed kitchen and outdoor grill came in handy on most nights. Will and Gloria prepared a few delightful meals for us which was a real treat. They greeted us on arrival with margaritas and guacamole and made themselves readily available every day. The home was cleaned daily, top to bottom. Fresh bottled water never ran low.
Tulum is near to many beautiful sites. Mayan Ruins (go early to avoid lines and heat), Akumal Monkey Refuge (call for reservation), Great Seafood, Cenotes, and much more. The only downside for some is the location of the house. It’s off the beaten path so if you’re looking to be near nightlife, culture or other social gatherings – it’s a drive – but not far.
Owner of the home recommended airport transportation and a local Tulum car rental agency which made things very smooth – no airport hassle with check-out/check-in of vehicle. Our rental car arrived just after we pulled in from the airport.
Overall our Tulum experience was fantastic and Tres Palmeras truly set the tone. Not only would I recommend this home to friends and family, I would return!
Ideal vacation spot for large family
Tres Palmeras was a beautiful and spacious place to spend our vacation week. The three kids (ages 3, 4, and 5) divided their time between the pool, digging in the sand on the beach, and playing legos in the common area of the house. The six adults lounged in the deck chairs and hammocks poolside, went for walks on the beach, and napped in the comfortable beds. We shopped for groceries in Tulum (15 min. drive) and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Our three most favorite dinners were prepared by the caretakers of the house, and we highly recommend this! The cost, convenience, and quality were all better than going to a restaurant.
