Great place to stay!
We are from Bozeman, but stayed here for a weekend getaway. It was very fun, and the place is so neat!
It is indeed very close to the Gallatin river, and right across from Stacey's Old Faithful bar.
The aesthetics were cool, and it would be fun to come back in the summer and open the garage doors up!
Thanks Collin! So glad you and your family enjoyed your weekend get-a-way in Ed's Place & the Farmhouse! We'll see you next time!
Ed’s Place is a funky place and couldn’t wait to i
We used both the farmhouse and Ed’s place while in Bozeman as they are on the same property and next to one another yet both very private! Perfect for 3 generations to use both places! The inside of Ed’s Place is beautiful! Lots of character and comfort and attention to detail. One of the coolest features is that it has a single glass garage door as a wall which is cool all by itself but it opens also and allows you to sit on the patio and visit with those inside or watch TV from there too.
We're so glad you and your family enjoyed both the Farmhouse and Ed's Place for your trip to Montana. It's kinda cool to have your own space but still be together isn't it?! Thanks for loving it! See you next time!
Ed’s place was a unique, clean, modern design getaway.
Gallatin Gateway is a quaint, little one horse town. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation home Ed’s place is calling your name. This home is just minutes from Bozeman and only a couple blocks from the Gallatin river, which is a well known trout stream. Just a short distance from Ed’s is a western theme restaurant/bar called Stacey’s. The food was great and the atmosphere was inviting, there is a small pizza place and a breakfast cafe also within walking distance, on our next visit we intend on trying the pizza.
The home is very clean, featuring a wood stove, a very nice oversized shower, updated new appliances, comfortable beds and the overhead garage doors are really one of a kind, they open up to the out door patio for enjoyment of the elements. The overall nostalgic feeling of the home and it’s location is like a step back in time.
Big Sky is approximately 30 minutes away for you to enjoy all the skiing and you can fit in.
We would recommend Ed’s place, it was a comfortable, quiet, nice place relax after a long day of Montana adventures.
WOW...thanks Blaine! I couldn't have said it better myself! So glad you enjoyed Ed's Place and all that Gateway has to offer! Soooo much to see, soooo much to do! Y'all come back now ya hear?!
Overall Amazing Experience!!!!!!!!
I live in Bozeman, and wanted to book a fun place to stay while my cousin visited from out of state. I was only about 20 minutes from my house, but felt world's away in the quaint little town of Gallatin Gateway. From this house I was able to walk 2 blocks to a bridge over the Gallatin River and drop in to fish. (The fishing was really good by the way.) It's hard not to have fun when trout are eating dry flies in October!! Once the fishing slowed down; I dropped my gear back at the house and walked across the street to the coolest Cowboy Bar/Steakhouse!!! AMAZING FOOD AND DRINK!! We wrapped up our evening and woke up and did it all again. This is a five star place to stay for a SW Montana fishing trip. The ski resorts weren't open, but I'd wager this place would be epic for a ski trip too. For that matter; what ever brings you to the Bozeman vicinity you want to stay at Ed's place!!!! Here is what my cousins thoughts were regarding her stay:
"When you are thinking about a trip to Bozeman, you absolutely have to stay at Ed’s place in Gallatin Gateway. It is a nice surprise when you get inside! Fascinating industrial design and very inviting! They thought of everything for a most comfortable stay! I didn’t want to leave! I really enjoyed the wood burning stove for a warm cozy evening. Also, there's a great sound system, and a smart TV for streaming the game. If you don’t feel like cooking, there is a great place within walking distance to eat. The river is a very short walk away, and the fish are very amicable! Close to Bozeman. Everything you need for a perfect getaway!"
Thanks Ryan! I'm so glad you enjoyed your time with your cousin. Gallatin Gateway has so much to offer, and Ed's Place truly is phenomenal!
