Perfect place for family holidays
The apartment is confortable and big enough for 4 people. It si well located and the subway is near. Supermarket is also quite near. Maybe it could have been more clean, dust under the beds, and too much air fresheners.
But I recomend it, thanks for all.
Every think was ok . the apartment was very clean and same as listed in pictures with very easy che
The apartment is clean . Neighborhood little noisy rest of every thinks was perfect
Thank you for staying and your very positive review. Looking forward to hosting you or your friends again in the future. Micheal.
It was very good
My experience was very good to stay in yr property. I will recommend to my friends and other family members as well. Thanks
Thank you very much and nice to have you stay, Micheal.
Very close to all shopping centers
I stayed at mr Michael home for a week. Very quite neighbor. My flight was delayed about 4 hours but Michael waited for my family and I to check in which was very nice of him. He made us feel welcome. However, the shopping centers are just a few miles away. The parking was not bad at all just have to remember to park on the opposite side of the road for garbage pickup which was new to me. I am living in Miami. This appartment have a full sized kitchen we made breakfast. Micheal had milk, juice, tea ,coffee and snacks for us. We will definitely stay with Mr Michael in the future.
Very happy with these people.
Nice apartment, good subway connection. Everything as described in the ad. thanks for the earlier check in and later check out.
It was great to host Britta and friends. They left the apartment in perfect condition. I wish all guests could be like them. Thank you again, Micheal.
Terrible place to stay.
First, when we got there, we opened the door and there was a powerful smell it was air fresheners. We started looking around, there were about 20 to 30 air fresheners.
Second, we walked by the fridge it smelled like dead fish. We opened the freezer and it really stuck of dead fish.
Third, my son went to use the bathroom and the toilet was disgusting. It had hair all around the rim of the toilet. He washed his hands; he went to use the towel it was soaking wet.
Fourth, I looked at the counters, and dishes in the cupboard, they were very dirty.
Fifth, we went into the 2nd bedroom and it stuck like a cigarette. In the 1st bedroom I pulled back the sheets and there were black particles on the sheets. I was not willing to sleep in there.
Sixth, we sat on the couch to make a phone call to the owner. It stuck like pee, which I think it was, because when I took off my clothes that night at another place, I had to take them to the laundry, because they stuck like Pee.
Seventh, the floor was very bad, there were boards popped up.
Eighth, we have pictures of the ceiling lights that had duck taped up. The walls were very dirty and gross.
When we called the owner, he was trying to tell me to just push down all the air fresheners. The smell was so potent, I don’t think pushing down the air fresheners would make the smell go away. The air fresheners were so strong that it permeated everything in the room. We even opened the door to get relief and still was making us sick.
Then I started telling him about the fridge that it stuck. Told him about the floor. He proceeded to tell me that it was cleaned that morning. He started arguing with me and telling me that I would not get any money back that it was my problem that I would not stay there.
All of Iris' allegations are without any merit. I had a few Glade air fresheners left open in the living room so the place would smell nice on their arrival. There absolutely were not 20 to 30 and she has no proof of that. I told her she could close them up if she wanted. She may have an allergy to them.
The sheets were probably washed with other things and so little flecks may have gotten on them. I would not see this as a big problem.
The towel in the bathroom was not long out of the washing machine so that was why it was a little wet. There were plenty more dry laundered towels available so they were available to be used by them.
None of the floor boards are popping up- there may be a creak or two but this is not unusual in older floors.
The fridge, counter top, kitchen and bathroom were all thoroughly cleaned but she must have some super sense of smell that nobody else has.
It is completely false to say that the couch had a smell. There are three people staying there right now and they have absolutely none of the complaints that Iris has made. They are staying for 11 days.
I did not argue with her at all and did offer to go over and talk about any issues she may have had but she said there was no point in me trying to talk to her as she was leaving. She is similar to Carol P. whose review you can see here. She also left(that was last October 2018) and after 2 inquiries American Express made a judgement in my favor and she did not get her money back. There have been many people who stayed since then and none had any complaints at all until Iris arrived.
The 2 ceiling lights (which are not the main lights in the living room) beside the wall had just been installed and are now completed. The walls are not dirty and I can provide pictures to show that and they are also visible on the VRBO website offering. A small amount is stripped brick with polyurethane finish and some of the original white paint is showing through but they are not dirty. One of the cleaners may have had a smoke in the apartment( I will ensure this does not happen again) but it has since been well aired out. Thank you, Micheal.
