Cozy and Clean
This cabin had everything we needed for our short stay in Custer. Location was great. Close to all the Custer shops and restaurants and only a couple blocks from access to the Mickelson Trail. Cabin was very clean and cutely decorated in a “moose” theme. Mini kitchen allowed us to keep a few things cold in the fridge and make a quick breakfast before we were off for our adventures. Comfy couch and cable tv allowed us to relax after our day. We enjoyed our stay!
Very quiet and well kept
Feels Like Home!
I cannot say enough good about our stay at #3 Moose Cabin! It was the perfect size for my husband and me as the cabin's layout is well-designed, with individual spaces, creating very comfortable and efficient living areas for our entire week's stay. The cabin was very clean and well-appointed, exactly as advertised. Crystal had thought of everything we could possibly want or need and, whenever she saw us, was sure to ask if we needed anything else, such as more towels, etc. Had we needed anything, she and her husband Roy had left a note with a number to contact them and they do live on site. They both are so very, very nice!
The location was perfect for walking to delightful downtown Custer or traveling to the many and varied destinations near and far within a days' drive and, although there are other accommodations in the area to be had, this felt like home each and every day we returned from our adventures! We will stay there again for sure!
Little cabin in the Black Hills
Cabin was clean, comfortable, quiet, and cozy. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette served our needs for making up breakfast. The owners were nice. A friend who was watching the office for them, suggested good places to eat and even went driving around, looking for us, when the rain started. We had ducked into the Mexican restaurant to wait out the storm. We would definitely stay here again. Good proximity to almost all the major sites we wanted to see.
Peaceful place to read & write
Great place to start out from & come home to when exploring in the Black Hills.
Nice Place - a few issues
The location was fantastic and it was nice and quiet. We had a few issues with the cleanliness, but otherwise not bad. Did not see the property owners/ managers the entire length of our stay.
