Très bonne localisation. Entretien général de l'appartement à revoir.
Peu de vaisselle et accessoires de cuisine insuffisant pour 8 personnes. Un lit pour 2 (130), trop étroit.
Problème de lampes grillées dans une salle de bains et une chambre que nous avons signalés et pas changées.
Les serviettes de toilette pas changées sur une semaine. Pas d'état des lieux faits avec le contact.
Mais la localisation dans Barcelone était très bien.
Très bien situé, près du centre mais au calme, propre, bonne literie, spacieux, décoration sobre et moderne. Climatisation efficace et silencieuse. Il manque juste un peu de vaisselle .
Superior customer service
Eduard was amazing! He made himself available for our late check on due to lost baggage delays. Appreciated the extra care and assistance to coordinate early morning taxi needs.
Property was perfect for our group. We loved the close proximity to the metro and Starbucks. Look forward to returning to Barcelona.
The flat was great because of its size. We only had 2 couples, so the extra rooms were great for our luggage. The 2 bedrooms in the hallway are very small. We very much enjoyed our stay and the communication with the hosts was great. The only issue I have is that the pictures are not quite the same as the apartment. It isn’t as bright as the photos portray and the place is a bit tired. That being said, having 3 bathrooms, all with shelves and stools for toiletries was a huge plus. None of us slept in the front bedroom. I think that would have been loud at night. Overall a good experience, but I do believe updates photos should be posted.
Nice people, unfortunately UNrestful stay
Place was decent enough, but we had one primary request - that there was an in-room safe, for passports, etc. We were assured there would be and there was indeed a safe. However, it didn't work. The building manager confirmed our discovery a couple hours into our stay and promised it would be fixed. We checked out six days later with no working safe.
On day 3, we were inundated with ants. All over the bathrooms, in 2 bedrooms and all in my daughter's suitcase and clothes. We texted the same number we did about the safe, but never received a reply (he claimed he never got the text). Yeah, I know.
Then there is the housekeeping service we had to pay for. We only allowed access two of he days, but cannot figure out what they possibly could have done - or if they even came in. Nothing was straightened, picked up, wiped off, no towels were moved, no garbage was emptied, no toilet paper replaced (which we ran out of, by the way) - so what did we pay for???
Last couple days - at 6:45AM! - we all woke up to alarmingly loud construction on the building. Amazing.
We were asked to send screen shots of the text, as well as ant videos. We complied. We checked out two weeks ago, and there has been no additional response from the owner, nor has our deposit been released (which was promised to be done a checkout).
It was promising, but we we felt abandoned and there's been no reply, no offer of concession for all of this, or anything. Barely a 'Sorry' and then we've just been ignored. I was hoping to not write a negative review, but if there had been even a little effort on their part...
Dear Art, I am very sorry to hear that you felt abandoned and did not enjoy your stay with us. I think you might have a problem with your mail and or phone. We did not receive any mails or text from you during your stay. We received two emails after your stay and we replied to both of them without getting any reply back to our answers.
We are normally quite quick react in case of any problems, especially with the cleaning which is very important to us.
The daily cleaning service is included in the price (not an extra) and if you want the cleaning crew to come you have to put the sign "please make my room". As we explain during check-in the daily cleaning includes; taking out the trash, making the beds and a quick "tidying up". It is not a full cleaning and it does not include changing towels or mopping the floor although if you request it (and we receive the email), it will be done. Rest assured that if we got a message of an ant inundation we would be quick to react.
We did not have any complaints from our other guest with regards to construction work at 6.45 AM. It was definitely not from our building.
The safety box took a while to fix as the official technical service had to come.

The apartment is in the old city in a neighborhood with grocery stores, bars and restaurants. It is in walking distance of many of the tourist attractions in Barcelona and is a short walk to a Metro stop.
The apartment had plenty of room for 6 adults. Having daily maid service was a bonus.
