Clean, great location!
Great beds, well stocked, easy walking to the beach, shops, restaurants and pools. This village is amazing and super safe. No need to have a car. Bikes, kayaks, SUPs and golf carts abound. You can walk the whole village in 20 min.
So glad you enjoyed Loreto Bay and all it has to offer. We enjoy the gulf course, beach, pools and of course all the Sea of Cortez has to offer. And you are absolutely correct, no car is needed within Loreto Bay. Markets, restaurants and wine bars are plentiful. Come back anytime!
We very much enjoyed our stay in this peaceful home. The view from the "crows nest" was so relaxing.....from our morning coffee to our evening glass of wine. Many a siesta was spent up there in the later afternoons!
Great little community for walking around......we purchased our groceries in Loreto at the super market and enjoyed our dinners out at the local restaurants.
Looking forward to returning!
Beautiful home. Great location.
Home very nice. Views from tower were amazing. Less congested in Aqua Viva than founders. Beds comfortable. Close to town to get groceries. Highlight was getting fresh clams at the kayak shack for impromptu clam bake on the BBQ !
Great View of the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de la Giganta Mountains
Tracy and Tammys Casa is very comfortable and in a less busy area of Loreto Bay.
You can rent bikes from Ricardo located at the south end of Loreto Bay next to La Bistro and ride all throughout Loreto Bay.
The kitchen is very well appointed.
Its a quick walk to the beach for a lovely morning or evening stroll.
Beds are very comfortable, not to firm, not to soft. Great neighbors as well
We really enjoyed our stay! Barry and Kay
Perfect Location, Amazing Views
It was everything we had expected and then some. The hosts were available any time we had a question and were informative and helpful. This house is away from the main part of Loreto Bay but within walking distance of everything. We spent a lot of time on the viewing tower watching the ocean, the sunsets, and the sunrises. There was ample space for two couples inside but we spent most of our time outside enjoying the weather. You will not be disappointed with this house if you are looking for relaxation or just about any activity you could ask for: golf, swimming, boating, shopping, restaurants, hiking, and sight seeing. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
Excellent Property - Great Owners - Beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets!!!!
My wife, son and I spent our Spring Break this year at Tammy's place. What a great place to stay. The bedrooms are very large and comfortable as are the bathrooms.
The design and style of the whole Loreto Bay Village is very well done. Each unit that has a viewing tower, as this one does, has commanding views of the Sea of Cortez along with the beautiful mountains in the West. Tammy's unit has a particularly nice view because it also overlooks the canal as well as the 7th Hole Green.
The home is very well appointed, clean and very new. We had no problem connecting to the internet, using the air conditioning, bbq, coffee maker, etc... You cannot beat the value of this unit.
Tammy did a fantastic job of providing information prior to and after our arrival as well as excellent recommendations for things to do, where to eat, etc...
We went to Coronado Island with Dolphin Dive Baja as recommended by Tammy. Dolphin Dive is run by a fantastic and warm couple that have two children and made for a great outing to see the island and all it's wildlife, including the Blue Footed Booby.
My son and I took advantage of the local golf course by getting their weekly pass ($155 US) that allows you to play as much as you want for 7 days. I decided to rent a cart for use on the course as well as tooling around Loreto Bay Village. That was a fun decision as my wife and son enjoyed the open air of the cart during a warm day. You can use the cart on the course by paying a $10 fee each time. That ended up working out well. The course has truly spectacular views on many of their holes. They don't pride themselves on upkeep so much, but the overall experience was great.
We ate at Sabor one evening and I had the most fantastic Carne Asada. The Owner's are a family from Southern CA and the service, atmosphere, view and food were 2nd to none.
La Picazon is a must as well. Tammy's direction are great and they are not exaggerated. It is a trek, but the Owner/host/waiter is extremely nice and welcoming. We watched him welcome in many repeat customers who he knew by name. The two restaurants, Sabor and La Picazon provided service rarely received in Seattle.
On our last day, after packing up the car, we headed up to the Vista Del Mar "Clam Shack" for lunch. You are literally right on the beach, close to waters edge. I had the clams with cheese melted on them and they were wonderful.
Simply stated, Book It Danno! You will not be sorry!!!
