The main downside to this property is the dreadful noise of the traffic,when sitting on the balcony
The apartment is very nice but lacking a few items that I would have expected as standard.no toothbrush holder, no wardrobe in the second bedroom which meant having to share the one in the main bedroom.the freezer part of the fridge is far too small ,there are no written instructions for,cooker ,washing machine,tv,and no local information regarding buses,restaurants beaches.
I also think that there should have been toilet facilities by the swimming pool,you had to go back to the apartment which was inconvenient
We have been to Barbados before so we knew about some things but anyone going for the first time would have found lack of information annoying.
There is a book of rules and regulations but they are for the owners not visitors.
But the biggest drawback is the noise from the traffic,it was like sitting by the M25.!

I think its a bit of an exaggeration saying the narrow coastal road is like the M25. Sorry no toothbrush holder but I'm sure Agnes would have brought you one if you had asked. A plastic cup could have easily been used for this purpose.
There is not a pool toilet advertised, and with close proximity to the apartments design was not necessary.
I will make sure there is an information folder for future guests, however normally there are 'Barbados in a Nutshell' books left in the apartment, however sometimes these are taken by guests as mementos.
The condo was clean and definitely large enough for a family of four (king bed in the master was nice!). The location is excellent- near Holetown but not nearly as expensive. We were able to walk to Reed's beach, which was very pleasant. There are a couple of bars/restaurants within walking distance but mostly you will need to take the bus or drive. We had a car but probably wouldn't have needed one, as the bus system is excellent.
My only complaint is that the condo could have been somewhat better equipped, especially since we were there for ten days- there were exactly 4 plates, which we had to wash every time we ate. Enough detergent to do one load of laundry, one roll of tp per bathroom, etc. Make sure you plan a trip to the store pretty quickly if you are staying here.

The house manager provides enough of the essentials for arrival however it is a self catering apartment rather than hotel which is reflected in items provided, including the rental cost!

A great home from home
Lantana 15 is a lovely 2 bedroom condo. It has everything you need including 2 fridges, a washing machine, dishwasher and wifi.
In terms of location, Lantana has a bus stop directly outside and buses run regularly. You can be in Holetown or Speightstown within minutes. There are lovely beaches close by, with Mullins being our favourite.
All in all, Lantana is a fantastic base from which to discover Barbados.

Lovely, well appointed apartment with a great view
We have stayed at Lantana before but this apartment was bigger and much better suited to our family. The staff involved were very helpful and we would be very happy to return.

Me and my children stayed at the Lantana 15 apartment, the apartment was everything it says with no hidden surprises. It was lovely and spacious with a beautiful veranda that over looks some fantastic breath taking sea view. The bedrooms was comfortable and clean including the overall apartment. The pool was easy for us to get too and below the apartment which was ideal especially if you wanted to take a rest from the beach which was only minutes from our stay. And if you wanted to site see and take a trip to the many shops the bus stop is just outside the apartment. Agnes who maintained the apartment was very polite and helpful also. All in all our stay was pleasant and I will return in the near future. Thank you Joan for letting us stay at your wonderful apartment.

Apartment overall is comfortable but it is little bit tired
The apartment was very clean and did have everything we required although it is a little bit tired. Just little things like a broken plug in one of the bathrooms; a very flimsy curtain in the main bedroom letting in daylight (which was a bit strange as the patio door in the main bedroom and the spare bedroom had black out curtains) no full length mirror and a few scrapes and scuffs on the walls. Maybe I’m being a bit particular but little things can make a difference!
The gardens around the apartment are very well kept and the pool is also kept clean and everyone around is very friendly.
Location wise it is ideal as we jumped on and off the buses to Mullins Beach and the Beach at Santi’s beach bar and also into Speightstown and Holetown and the buses are a real experience and very frequent!
The traffic from the main road can at times be a bit noisy but as I live in town back home I am used to some noise but I can understand why some people find it annoying.
Overall we had a fabulous holiday and will be back to Barbados.
