Three bikes available, the little garden is in common with the residents. The dock with ferries to Venice is only 300 m away, it takes 15 minutes to get to Piazza San Marco, the boats depart every 10 minutes. Coming by car: from the Liberty Bridge (Ponte della Libertà) connecting Venice to the mainland, take the ferry-boat, then drive 1.5 km to the House. Hints and Tips Lido is the peaceful and green thin island that stretches between open sea and lagoon, which is only 15 minutes away from S. Mark’s square, or half an hour by ferryboat’s ride leaving from Tronchetto. The Lido is least crowded and therefore most enjoyable seaside resort of the whole upper Adriatic, just because its beach is spread all along its 12-km length. A stay on the Lido will let you breath the Venice’s charm and in the meanwhile enjoy a special atmosphere : the island represents the ideal place for those who want to mix cultural tourism and a vacation by the sea. In the pedestrian zone of via Lepanto and in the Gran Viale there are plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. All year round you can play golf and tennis, do some archery or horseback riding, you can swim, do some water skiing and some kayaking, go sailing,windsurfing and parachuting as well. By bike is the ideal way to see Lido! Three bikes are available at home, if you want more, you can rent them in Gran Viale.
