Hints and Tips The National Park Hohe Tauern offers beautiful views, endless hiking and skiing pleasure. You find shops, cafes and restaurants in St. Jakob (10 min.) as well as in Lienz (30 min.), both lovely alpine towns. Ski area with efficient gondola can be reached in 5 minutes by free ski bus several times a day - or by car. Grandiose sights and lovely slopes for all levels of experience in 2000 m height with the possibility of skiing downhill almost to the house. Near Lienz (30 minutes away) you can spent hot summer days at the beautiful Lake Tristach (Tristacher See), surrounded by forest.
