You can take the deck chairs and parasols into the house, set them out early in the morning and use them throughout the day until late into the evening. You can watch the sun at sunset. The kitchen is small and functional. Meals begin with foodstuffs. Your host is a gourmet and connoisseur of everything good that is produced in the region. He will be glad to tell you where you can buy fresh, organically grown or ecological fruits and vegetables, the true Dalmatian bread, olive oil, cheese, wine, meat or fish. In the yard, there is a small garden with herbs, where you can pick fresh mint, rosemary, laurel, basil, hot peppers, sage and lavender. In line with the principles of feng shui, the bedroom is the coolest, shadiest and most silent part of the apartment. It is facing north, with a view of the tallest pines in the village; the windows are covered with nets against insects. The bathroom is small and practical, and for quick showers there is a shower in the yard, with a sun-heated water tank.
