La Cascina is a villa set within 8 acres of the beautiful Sibillini Mountain National Park. The house and private swimming pool (10m x 7m) have views across farmland, deciduous forests and the glorious blue mountains of the Sibillini.
“La Cascina” gives you total privacy to relax, soak up the sunshine, cool off in the pool and enjoy a drink to the accompaniment of cicadas. La Cascina is situated on the edge of a small farming village in a quiet private lane that leads into the forests of the National Park. Internally, the house has been recently refurbished, but has maintained the flavour of its past. The house has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. The swimming pool area is very private and contains a separate annexe with WC. Externally, the house has a covered terrace that enables guests to eat in a shady environment. .
All window have insect screens for summer.
There is also an opportunity to visit the more popular areas eg Assisi is a one hour drive and both Florence and Rome are a 3 hour drive from the house. San Ginesio (about 20 minutes away) is known for its 'Sibillini Balcony' from where a glorious panorama may be viewed. Immediately around the house is an large garden with outside seating, sun chairs, umbrellas,a lot of place for relaxing and an outside shower.
