Hints and Tips Santa Maria is famous for its beaches and water sports. The local food with a lot of fresh fish and sea food is fantastic and the small restaurants, looking more like cafes are usually the best. Try also the BBQ at Morabeza Hotel. And take a boat trip of flight to check out the other islands!
