Means of access The Vichiaccio is found in the place "Ponte di Gabbiano", a small fraction of Mercatale Val di Pesa. on the road between Florence and Siena. The Vichiaccio, for its particular geographical position, it is a good point of departure to visit the territories of the Chianti Classico, the cities of Florence and Siena and the historical suburbs of Impruneta (famous for the Cotto), Greve in Chianti (chief town of the Chianti Gallo Nero) and San Casciano Val di Pesa, XIII century fortified village.
