The context is the picturesque fisher village of Rinella. Balcony on the first floor with possibility of eating with a wonderful sight on the beach, the harbour, the neighbour islands of Lipari and Vulcano, Sicily. Well equipped kitchen. Hints and Tips Restaurants with fish and other local specialities, bars, groceries can be reached very shortly on foot. Typical food specialities (Dessert Wine Malvasia delle Lipari DOC, Capers, “Cucunci” (caper fruits) can be bought directly from the producers. On the beach in front of the house there is a boat rental and a Diving center, Scooter rental on the harbour. The village is a good starting point for trekking in the protected area “riserva naturale orientata delle montagne delle Felci e dei Porri” (mountains up to 976m high directly over the sea). It also a good starting point for trips to the other Aeolian Islands (hydrofoils from the harbour directly near the house several times a day: Filicudi 30 min., Lipari 40 min., Vulcano 1 hour, Alicudi 1 hour, Panarea 1 hour, Stromboli 1 ½ hours). Organized boat trips (island round trips, trips to the other islands) start from the harbour. Bus connections from the harbour to all other towns and villages on the island (Leni, Valdichiesa, Malfa, Pollara, Capo Faro, Santa Marina Salina, Lingua).
