Means of access HOUSE OF LIGHT is situated between two parks: La Alamedilla (with his indoor pool) and the Jesuits Park. It is only at a five minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor and the old city centre with its two cathedrals (Romanesque and gothic) and the very well known University Façade. Also, at a 10 minutes walk, there is one of the mysteries of Art: The unique San Marcos Church, one of the three Romanesque churches in Europe with a round structure.
The old prison, recently converted to the Contemporary Art Museum, DADOS, is situated at a fifteen minutes walk, as well as the popular Rastro (the Sunday street market) and to the summer area of bars specialised in barbecues.
The train station is at a ten minutes walk, although there is a stop at the back of the building. Besides the flat, there are plenty of supermarkets, commercial areas, the Gran Via Avenue area, well known for its night life, and the popular Pinchos’ bar area.
