Etna. The house is in a family run residence with two separate entrances one for cars and one for pedestrians, who can walk to the seashore, the main square, the food shops and restaurants. The house is modern, with its own independent entrance which leads directly to a terrace. It is fully furnished and equipped also in the outside where you can have your own meals and barbecue the fresh fish you find at the local fish market. Inside there are two bedrooms with two double beds and a single bed, two bathrooms - one with a shower and another with bath tub -, a living room with tv and DVD,DVX player and stereo, a dining room, a kitchen for any kind of cooking. In the underground, connected with an internal flight of stairs, there is a large garage with a laundry machine, a large sink for hand washing and another toilet.It is warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The general atmosphere is very relaxing with much green all around; from the seashore you can admire the famous town resort of Taormina (20 Km) and Mt. Etna that tempts for a day trip at least!
You can also walk to the renowened Touristic Harbour of Riposto and its main square. If you are fond of volcanoes this is the right place to take your excursions from. You can enjoy one of the clearest sea in the Mediterranean sea and it's a great attaction for swimmers.
The position of the house allows day trips fryom Syracuse to Messina to find out about the historical and cultural aspect of Sicil

If you get to Acireale or Giarre by car we can arrange an appointment and take you to the residence. The nearest port is Riposto Marina, 2 Km away from the residence. Just opposite the residence is the bus stop that runs directly to Giarre-Riposto, the nearest towns. The motorway A18 Messina-Catania and the main state Road which links Messina to Syracuse are just 2 kilometres away from the property.
Hints and Tips Nature and art are the most recommended aspects to discover. This area has been the crib of many civilizations and the environment is full of contrasts. From Taormina to Syracuse, you will admire the archelogical sites of the Greek and Roman people, the baroque architecture of Catania and Acireale, the stunning effect of Mt. Etna on the surrounding territory.
You can also go shopping as you wish both to exclusive boutiques or to great shopping centres within very easy reach since the house is located in one of the most commercial areas of Sicily.
Within few metres from the house you have supermarkets, chemistry, post office, bars, pizzeria, restaurant, tabacconist and also a farm which grows its own fruit and vegetables. And not far also big shopping centres.
