Although set in a quiet leafy lane, only a leisurely 10 minute stroll takes you to the heart of the old town of Pézenas with its many restaurants, cafés, metiers’ studios and galleries, boutiques and shops.
The accommodation comprises two bedrooms, one double and one twin, each with ample wardrobe space, and a pine wood mezzanine with two further single beds (suitable for adults and children 4+ years). The large, bright living space, with dining area has comfortable sofa and chairs and opens out onto the gite’s own patio with table and chairs. The kitchen is well fitted with ceramic hob, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer, kettle,toaster, iron. There is a shower room with toilet and washbasin. There are little extras such as television, video, DVD, fans, a CD/radio player, hairdryer, and outside on the lawn by the pool there are sun-loungers. Cot and high chair are available free of charge.
Other facilities include washing machine, drying lines, BBQ, plus parking in the enclosed grounds.
The gardens extend to nearly 3 acres and are ideal for games and relaxing by the pool (which is shared at limited times with B&B guests).
There is shade under the trees for those who want to relax and read a book.

Hints and Tips Pezenas makes a perfect base for holidaying and discovering all that beautiful Languedoc/Roussillon has to offer. The lively long stretches of Mediterranean beaches are only 25km away. A 50 minutes drive takes you to the ancient walled cities of Carcassonne and Aigues-Mortes. For those seeking active pursuits there is canoeing on the nearby rivers Hérault and Orb, and sailing on the Etang de Thau and from Cap d'Agde. Pezenas offers a wide selection of antique shops and the Saturday markets are lively and fascinating and full of local products. Golfers will find interesting and picturesque golf courses within easy reach and for the walkers, only 15 kms inland takes you to the Monts de l'Espinouse with their gorges and summits and south, beyond Perpignan, about 1 hr away, are the Pyrenees and Spain. For the less ambitious the rolling countryside is dotted with many little villages steeped in history and character. On a grander scale, beautiful and lively Montpellier is only 45 mins away.
