On the first floor of a 17th century building. This 29 square-meter/ 313 sqft bright and comfortable studio apartment (renovated in January 2005) overlooks a typical French courtyard and Rue de Charonne (2 minute walk from Underground/ Metro “Bastille station” - line 1, 5 and 8 ).
The one-roomed flat, with areas following one another, is composed as follows:
**entrance hall with kitchenette (2 electric plates, refrigerator, cupboard with kitchen utensils) and a window overlooking the courtyard;
** living room: extension table, 4 chairs, sofa bed (closed: 200x90 single bed; open: 200x180 double bed ), large wardrobe, cable tv ( LCD flat screen).

The apartment is equipped with INTERNET ACCESS ( also wireless), Telephone , LCD TV with international channes.
An internet point (also for cheaper international calls) and a laundrette are just immediately below (ground floor of the building).

Rue de Charonne is a lively street with many design, antiques and fashion shops, ethnic restaurants, bistrot. This district is the natural continuation of Marais, just two minutes away on foot, and its charm attracts tourists and local people, who consider it “the real Paris”.

By bus or underground, these places can be reached even faster, but taking a walk in Paris is really worthwhile.
