It is so romantic and charming and in such a great area, full of restaurants, food shops and an open air market. It has great light and a balcony, so rare in Paris. I remember when I was renovating, all my friends used to come by in the evening for a drink on the balcony. We all felt it's the kind of place one wants to come back to at the end of a day in Paris.

Accès On a pedestrian street in the heart of the very central & trendy Montorgueil neighborhood, the studio is one block from line 4 metro at Etienne Marcel and 2 blocks from RER lines A & B connecting you directly with both of Paris's Airports, the Gare du Nord for high-speed trains around Europe and Disneyland Paris.
Bon plans The studio is perfectly situated in a great Parisian neighborhood but so close to all the action.
Take a stroll in the morning, 2 minutes away there are some wonderful bakeries to buy your croissants and pain au chocolat, such as the well known Stohrer's opened in 1730.
After breakfast you can walk over to the Opera, 15 minutes away, to shop in Galerie Lafayette or Printemps or walk down to the Louvre & Palais Royal, 10 minutes away. The river and Saint Germain aren’t far either and a slow 20 minute stroll will take you there.
In the evening come back and relax in the neighborhood; there is a plethora of restaurants on the pedestrian streets surrounding the studio. Some famous ones too like l'Escargot at 38, rue Montorgueil (www.escargot-montorgueil.com). There are restaurants to fit all types of pockets from comfy cafés serving inexpensive French food to super tasty Thai restaurants. But if you would prefer to buy some market food and take it home to eat on the balcony that could be a great idea too. Lastly, if you would like to take in a film there is a 24 screen, state of the art, cinema 5 minutes walk from the studio, Ciné Cité Les Halles. Many of the films are in their original version and not dubbed into French. Look out for the films in “VO”.
