Additional services Bed linen provided, Towels provided, Caretaker Best points It is a little,but comfortable apartment of 25 sq.,completely renewed in april 2007, situated in one of the best quarter of Palermo, where there are shops of all kind, supermarkets, cafès, restaurants, very near to the bus stop that, on one side, takes you in 6-7 minutes to the city old center and, on the other side, in 15 minutes, to Mondello beach. The airport bus stops at 5-6 minutes by foot.
There is air condition and heating, and it is composed by a big room with window, with double bed ( or 2 single beds, as you like ), cupboard, sofa, table chairs, TV, radio, kitchen-corner fully equipped and with refrigerator and by a bathroom with shower.
The owner is a local tourist guide and can give you informations or organize for you guided tours (extra price). Means of access You can reach Palermo by plane, with many economic companies ( Ryanair, Air One, Easy Jet), or by ship(where you can also put your car).You can take the ship of Grimaldi Lines from Genova, from Civitavecchia ( Grandi navi veloci) or from Naples ( Tirrenia).Anyway betternot to have a car in Palermo. You can visit also the surroundings with confortable busses. From the airport you can take a bus and get off at Libertà street, and 5 minutes walk you reach the apartment. From the port is better a taki (less than 10 minutes).
Hints and Tips Nearby cafès, restaurants and shops. Beach of Mondello is situated 15 minutes bus or 10 minutes drive. The town of Palermo is as old as Rome and there are many interesting monuments of all periods.
Come and see the famous CARNEVAL at Termini Imerese ( 30 minutes from Palermo )with a procession of carts and assist to a representation in the famous "Teatro Massimo" the 3rd big Opera Theatre of Europa!
