Best points Artepalermo is for people who would like an authentic experience rather than an impersonal hotel. It is a B&B in the heart of the historical center, in a lane (do not expect an elegant entrance), in the house of an artist. It is situated on the top floor of an old house, surrounded by lanes, squares, markets, washing, terraces, churches, bars, restaurants and shops.
There are two guest rooms, both with a terrace or a balcony, a shared sitting room, a roof terrace and a kitchen where guests can cook. There is no lift and the bathroom is shared.
We are a dutch woman, a tunesian man and a sicilian dog and we speak english, italian, french, german, spanish, portughese, dutch and arabic.
On arrival guests will receive a map of Palermo and helpfull suggestions, if required. There is a collection of leaflets, tourist guides, train and bus timetables and information on concerts, theatres and art exhibitions in various languages.
The Lonely Planet of Italy as well as the Rough Guide to Sicily suggest to stay with us.
