Hints and Tips The whole region is part of the national park "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft". In March and October the Bodden (coastal inlet formed by the influx of the sea into an undulated terrain) are the worlds biggest resting place for cranes on their way north/south. From the house you can watch cranes. Neuendorf has a little harbour and is popular also with windsurfers and kitesurfers. The area is also perfect for hiking along the bodden, cycling, fishing or visits to the famous hanseatic cities of Rostock or Stralsund. The Baltic coast resorts Preorow and Zingst with beautiful sandy beaches can be reached by car in 20 minutes.
