Leave Salzburg airport bearing left at the end of the car hire terminal and follow the road to the traffic lights. Follow the A10 autobahn signs to Villach, passing over a couple of roundabouts and join the slip road to the right directly after passing under the bridge. Continue down the A10 for approximately 35 minutes and take the exit signposted Eben (directly after the Landzeit service station). Turn left at the bottom of the slip road and take your first left again signposted Filzmoos 11km. Continue on this road until you reach the turn off for Neuberg. Drive past the turn on the left and take the next left (a small lane just 15 yards further on) continue past the Geierberg T bar up the slope and take your first right and then bear left to arrive at Haus Schnalps.
When driving on the Austrian motorways you will require a ‘Vignette’ which can be purchased at the motorway service stations before entering Austria and costs approximately 8 Euros for 10 days. This needs to be displayed in the windscreen.
