*** It is also within easy reach of AYA SOFYA, the BLUE MOSQUE, TOPKAPI PALACE, and The GRAND BAZAAR.
Just down the hill ( at most a 3 minute walk ) there is a STOP for the very efficient ( and air conditioned!) TRAM SERVICE which provides a fast and frequent service across the Golden Horn via GALATA BRIDGE and to the port ( where ferries can be taken to cross and go down the Bosphorus). To come back up the hill there is a tiny , very picturesque tram from Galata Bridge that goes all the way up Istiklal to Taksim square.
***There is a TAXI RANK in front of Galatasaray Licesi, 100 metres from the apartment ( although taxis can be stopped anywhere) and GARAGE PARKING is located 10 metres from the apartment.
