It’s a great place to chill out and recharge your batteries - high above the village it is tranquil and private in its own 3/4 acre garden, with breathtaking views over the lush rolling hills of the Pays de Bray, yet only just over a mile from the village.
It is located in the Pays de Bray region of Normandy, 10km from the spa town of Forges-les-Eaux which is just south of Neufchatel-en-Bray, between Dieppe and Rouen. It’s hard to believe that this beautiful area is just 2 hours from Calais (5 hours from London via Eurotunnel) via the new A16 motorway (described by the Mail on Sunday as “the quietest in Europe”). This makes it an ideal base for those of you who do not wish to waste those precious holidays tearing down a motorway for hours on end!
Hints and Tips The Pays de Bray is a truly beautiful part of Normandy: lush undulating farmland, green fields, lazy cows, apple orchards, and up by the sea the rugged white cliffs of the Alabaster coast… We have found that the house and grounds are such a wonderful place to just chill-out and recharge our batteries, whatever the weather, that we tend not to stray very far.
