The street is very quiet and silent, and even during the hot florentine summers is cool and lightly windy. The flat is 200 metres far from three bus stops, two of them going to the centre, and 300 metres far from a train station, by which you can go to the main train station Firenze S.M.N. in 13 minutes.
The place is very good because it is in the north of Florence; in 10 minutes by car you can reach the highways A1, A11, and FI-PI-LI ( nearer cities on the north-west: Prato, Pistoia, Pisa, Livorno), and the most beautiful places in the countryside.
If you take by car the street named Colli Alti, you can go trough a beautiful route with a wonderful panorama, reaching Monte Morello, on which you can see all the valley of Florence.
Or you can go in five minutes to Sesto Fiorentino; this little town is famous for the valuable ceramics, that you can admire in the Richard Ginori Museum.
Or you can go to Castello, that is far from only 1 km, where there are the two most important countryhouses of the ancient Medici’s family: “Villa Medicea Castello” was the Cosimo I’s favourite villa, with an great, beautiful and visitable garden, and “Villa Medicea della Petraia”, one of the best Medici’s building, due to the wonderful landscape around and the ancient and precious paintings.
