We are situated between fields, where you can see the cows every day in the summer from our farmers and the mountains filled with wood. You smell and feel the nature and you are able to get new energie for your life. We are very proud to life here and able to give you the possibility to enjoy it.

Means of access There is the description of the way how you get to “Haus Elfi” from Munich
....from Germany-Munich (München) to Border Austria-Salzburg. Continue the motorway A 1 to Vienna (Wien). Thalgau exit. Continue on the federal highway via Hof. You pass Hof and turn right to Faistenau. From Hof to Faistenau it’s about 5 kilometres. At the sign "Faistenau" you go straight on the road to the direction of Hintersee. You pass the sign “Faistenau End” and after 1 km you come to a cross where you go left to “TIEFBRUNNAU” After 5,5 kilometres on the left side of the street you find „Haus Elfi“.
Hints and Tips "Haus Elfi" is a very well situated place. It is very close to the most importend sightseeings like the beautiful town of Salzburg (where Mozart was born),the lakes at the Salzkammergut like Fuschlsee, Mondsee, Attersee, Hallstatt etc.. It takes about 45 min by car to reach the world largest Eiscave at Werfen. Don´t miss the the "Salte Mines" at Bad Dürrnberg. We have many places for hiking, mountainbiking, waking, swimming, surfing, playing golf, horse riding etc.
The skiingarea Gaissau-Hintersee ist 12 km near.
Faistenau has a cross-country route from 60 km. You can start direktly by the house.
