The farmhouse Ca l'Andreu is a traditional restored stone farmhouse of Pirinees with 1000 m2 garden and swimming pool, spectacularly situated on a hillside in the village of Eller. This village exist from XI century and has a little romance church from medieval Catalan. Views from the property are stunning, looking down over the Cerdanya Valley, the mountains of Tossa, Cadí and Puigmal. From Ca l'Andreu a 360 degree panorama reveals the hole French and Spanish valley. The house is provided with all the modern facilities as clean machines, heating, singular decoration, jacuzzi. A swimming-pool (available in summer) with all the spectacular views. The region is quiet and unspoilt providing the perfect place to relax. But in 20 minutes by car there are ski-resorts, golf courses, flight gliding, climbing (from the house), horse riding, natural spas and famous gourmet restaurants as 'Can Borrell' in Meranges, 'La Torre del Remei' in Bollvir.

Means of access Eller is situated at a height of 1450 m in the Pirinees, 8 Km from the market of Bellver de Cerdanya. Eller has a local farm restaurant, but all the catering is bought in Bellver. This town is attractive and small with a roman wall with one of the most beautiful medieval plaza of Catalonia. The nearest towns in the valley are Puigcerdà (Spain), Bourg-Madame (France), Alp (Spain) and Font-Romeu (France), that offer all basic facilities including bars and restaurants, post office, banks, supermarkets, shops, cinema, hospitals, pharmacy plus the more traditional butches, grovers. The duty-free Andorra country is 45 min by car. The coast is 120 min by car through Prades (Pau Casals), Ceret (Picasso), Colliure (Matisse), Cadaqués (Dalí). Barcelona is 90 minutes by car.
Hints and Tips Descriptions of the farmhouse Ca l' Andreu is a second house for us ( a Catalan family with three daughters). We say that this house is a retreat of the world in deep contact with the nature. We love it. The house is situated in the south side with full day sun and shield from the wind. The interior of the house is situated on two floors. Three double bedrooms and one four bedroom (for children). Three bathrooms, one situated on the lower floor, the rest on the first floor. One of them with jacuzzi. The farmhouse kitchen is well equipped with oven, cooker, fridge-freezer and cooking implements. There are two lounges. One with stereo with CD player and piano. Both with beautiful views of the valley. There is a terrace and garden where you can observe the birds passing and drinking the water of the swimming-pool. The entrance of the farmhouse is a big wood-door and around the 1000 m2 of garden with frutal trees, sequoia and black pines, there is a stone wall that provides a comfortable privacy.
Is a must in winter (ski), spring, summer & autumn It is a must for visiting Catalonia and to have a huge view of the landscape and old culture of this area (history, art, gourmet, sport..). The situation permits to have an extra travel of the visitors of the city of Barcelona. It is worth visiting the cathars area, Montsegur, Foix, Carcassonne... .If you want to travel a little more you can visit the art places of fauvism and surrealim':Ceret, Colliure, Cadaqués, Figueras (Museu Dalí), in rthe Costa Brava North.
