Means of access Chrani is just 30 minutes drive from Kalamata airport. We can arrange a taxi for you (about 25 euros) or you can take the bus or hire a car. From the airport take the road to Pylos. Pass through Messini and carry on until you get to the village of Rizomylos, about 15 km from the airport. When you are almost through the village, take the left hand turn signposted to Koroni. Continue on this road about 8 km until you pass through the village of Petalidi. The next village (about 5 km) is Kalamaki. It is about 3 km from Kalamaki to Chrani. When you see the sign to Chrani, drive slowly and look for the Parthenon Restaurant on the right-hand side. Opposite that, between two mirros is a left turn. Take this road and follow it round. Villa Kefi is on the left, just before the road turns down to the sea.
Hints and Tips Try the Hellas Restaurant for a friendly welcome, excellent local food and the occasional outbreak of Greek dancing. At the Parthenon Restaurant, Maria's chicken souvlaki is the best we've ever had. For a really romantic view, watch the moon rise over the sea from the terrace at the Veranda Taverna. If you're barbecueing at the villa, Billy's mini-market has everything you need.
