It is a new beautiful 70 m² appartment with fully equipped kitchen & shower room, completely furnished, linen included, washing machine & dishwasher, TV, private parking . It has two separated bedrooms, one with double beds and the other with bunk beds, and a living room with sofa bed (1,40x2,00m.).
On the large south oriented balcony you can sit and enjoy your meals delighted by the wonderfull view of lakes Lugano and Piano. The apartment located at 500 m. above sea level, in summertime is favoured by a constant mountain breeze that guarantees more comfortables temperatures than in the valley and the lake side.
It is an ideal starting point for excursions to mountains and valley sites and to the Lake Piano Regional Park , for discovery of natural and cultural treasures of the lakes Lugano and Como. From Menaggio or Porlezza, you can visit by boat beautiful monuments as Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi D’Eril, Piona’s Abbay (just to name some of thems). Menaggio is a fashionable main resort in the central lake area that is a hub for ferry, bus, speed and cruise boat connections. Sportsmen will enjoy the many activities on the lakes and surroundings. Golfers will appreciate the prestigious " Menaggio Golf Club ", a place of british tradition on lake Como, a Mecca of golfing culture since 1906, situated at only 10 minutes from the apartment.

From Milan: take the motorway towards Lugano, go out at Como nord (it is the last exit for Italy), go on towards Menaggio, take the direction Lugano for about 10 km., then turn right towards Carlazzo.
From Lugano: go on to Gandria, go through customs, drive along the shore of Lugano lake until Porlezza, then go towards Menaggio and within very few Kms you’ll see on your left the sign towards « Carlazzo ».
Hints and Tips Following the road thats links Carlazzo village to the Gottro’s mountains, you will find smalls local typical restaurants called " crotto " where you can taste local regional meals served with the typical " polenta " (Crotto da Gusto, Crotto Merlo, Crotto Mirabel ….). In most of the villages of Como lakeside, you will find typical fish dishes (pesce persico, lavarello).
