Means of access Bras is a typical Mediterranean village in the heart of 'Green Provence'. Although situated amidst beautiful woods and vineyards, it is easy and fast to reach, because only 5 miles away from major traffic lines like the motorway A8 and the highway N7 (Aix-en-Provence - Nice), north of Saint-Maximin. International Airports are Marseille (about 45 miles from us) and Nice-Cote d'Azur (about 85 miles). There are also high-speed railway stations in Marseilles-St.Charles or Aix-en-Provence (40 miles). At all those airports or train stations car rentals are available as well as a bus line ("Les Phocéens" tel. 04 93 85 66 61) to Saint-Maximin where our minibus may pick you up.
By car: Take the A8 or N7 and leave in Saint-Maximin (A8 exit # 34) head to city center and follow the country road D28 to Bras (5 miles). In Bras continue to the center until the Café Nemrod and after 200 ft. turn left at the plane trees into rue "Emile Combes". Then simply follow our blue signs for another mile to the top of our hill.
Hints and Tips All friends of an untouched nature will find many beautiful places in and around Bras for walking and hiking, as for example the impressive Sainte-Baume massif. Moreover, we are situated right in the heart of Provence, so you can easily reach from here nearly all of Provence's famous sights or activities within less than 45 minutes, such as:
