The upper two floors of the villa are for rent. The large apartment sleeps 10 people in 4 bedrooms. Both apartments have splendid views over the rolling green hills of Umbria.
The villa is only a few miles from the leading towns and cities of the region, famous for their artistic heritage. Situated in an olive grove, lovingly tended by the proprietors, the villa looks out towards Assisi, Spello and Perugia. There is a very nice, large garden with a swimming pool (open in the period may 09 - sep 12, 2009; the pool measures 9m x 5m x 1.2m).
Casa della Ginestra will appeal especially to those nature lovers who want peace, calm and privacy combined with incomparable panoramas and the ability to take many day trips to historic cities. Just ten kilometers from the medieval hill town of Assisi, the "Casa della Ginestra" owned and worked by the Morbidelli family for two generations, offers both a unique glimpse of Italian rural life and confortable base from which guests can visit the famed nearby towns of Umbria, Tuscany and the Marches including Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Gubbio, Siena, Florence, S.Gimignano, Cortona, Rome, and Urbino and natural sights including Lake Trasimeno, the Marmore Waterfall and the Sibilline Mountain National Park.
