Means of access Antequera lies right in the heart of Andalusia on the famous GR7 green EU footpath from Tarifa->Athens along the Med. Very good access on foot, by car, train or bus. Motorways are 5´ on good roads; 15% discount on hire car & petrol. A scenic shuttle bus to Sierra Nevada resorts takes 70´ for winter skiing/ summer hiking. The Lake District is 25´; Granada 50´; Marbella/Cordoba 60; Ronda 60 (nr the largest cork forest in Europe); 2 hours to Atlantic coast/Gibraltar; Malaga airport. Med beaches are 35´away, with all water sports, scuba, fishing, boating, skiing, whale & dolphin safaris into the Med, guided day trips to North Africa, etc. Only a 3 minute walk to a playground, the castle, cathedral, to pubs/restaurants, a doctor, a pharmacy etc. Well-lit, airy 2 floor house on a wide, level street with secure free parking at the door, a bus every 1/2 hr, internet, full baby equip. Main scenic panorama point looking down on the streambed 5 m. from the front door. We have friendly, tolerant neighbours.
